So what words of wisdom helped me make run my small business this week?  Here’s a few I liked.

@KnowledgeBishop Today's effort determines tomorrow's outcome.

@Hyken Good service can set a company ahead of competitors who have better products and less service.

@Leadershipfreak The surprising truth is humble leaders gain influence because they know, understand and appreciate others.

@smoothsale Feature each of your collaborative partners on your website, blog etc & all should reciprocate. Marketing attracts!

@DarrenHudach I don't believe in luck. I believe in hard work and preparation.

@PhilJones40 Never outsource your eyes. Seeing things for yourself gives fresh perspective and insight.

@LeadToday It's either the truth or it's a lie. If there is another choice in your mind people will always question your integrity.

@ToSellTraining I think we can learn a lot by watching how our kids keep in touch with each other - they network very effectively!

@NightingaleEarl All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination.

@JonahLupton Be different. Copycats never leave a legacy.

@NicoleAFende You WILL be burning down your business if you don't contain and eventually extinguish your burn rate.

 @CarrieWilkerson Made your 'critical' action list for tomorrow yet? End the day with a plan for tomorrow. It gives you a head start!

 ‏@johnmorgan Your goal is to position your brand in the mind of the consumer as a valued resource rather than another service provider.

Gene Marks owns the Marks Group PC, a ten person sales and marketing technology consulting firm outside of Philadelphia that serves more than 600 small and medium companies around the country.
