What: A social media and motivational speaking business for small business owners, helping them become "famous" among their target markets.

When: 2004

How: Formerly a salesperson, Ryan always dreamed of being a writer and speaker. She took a sabbatical from her job and decided the only way to get her writing out was online. From there, her alter-ego 'dotJenna' was born, as was her social media and motivational speaking business.

Where: Austin, Texas

In her own words: "It's a different route, to get out there in social media, and I am seriously helping people do that."
